Performing together as a duo since 2010, Jim Anderson plays acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals. Denise Geisler sings harmony and lead vocals. A talented guitarist and songwriter, Jim played lead guitar for “The Rebel Kind” and “The Choir” (It’s Cold Outside) in the 60's and 70's. In 2012 he finished a three year run with "Forever Young", and is now in the four piece band, "NO MOSS". With renewed interest in the acoustic side of music, Jim joins vocalist Denise Geisler in playing everything from fingerstyle to the softer side of rock, pop and the blues. As former lead vocalist for Forever Young and now NO MOSS, Denise lends her smooth vocal style to a wide variety of music in the Duo.
That question always stumps us. Truth is, we play songs we like, whether from the "old days" or something on the radio today; pop, classic rock, and oh yeah, let's throw in some country too! Old standards? Yes. Fingerstyle instrumentals? Uh-huh. And a few originals to boot.
We infuse our style into everything we play - and mix it up! It might mean being jazzy on a Beatles tune, doing a female vocal lead on a Doobie Bros. hit, an acoustic take on classic rock, or creating duet arrangements and harmonies that fit like a glove.
